Go Forward Think (lost ground in the home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Supplementary Report (10 August 2022):
GRV Stewards on 10 August 2022 finalised an inquiry into the conduct of licenced person Mr Rodney Garthwaite were he used a barking muzzle on the greyhound, Mad Mav at the Shepparton meeting on the 4 August 2022. The specifics of the charge were that at the Shepparton Greyhound Race Meeting, Mr Garthwaite used a barking muzzle on the greyhound Mad Mav engaged in race 10. Mr Garthwaite pleaded guilty to the charge and issued a fine of $250 pursuant to GAR 30(2).
