Steward's Report
Whisky Jess was quick to begin. Mr. Larson went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.
Fernando Lake turned its head outwards on the home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left long head triceps muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Graeme Cinnamond regarding Fernando Lake’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Fernando Lake was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Graeme Cinnamond pleaded not guilty to the charge, Fernando Lake was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
There was no head-on vision available in the back straight for this event.
