Steward's Report
Stewards interviewed Mr. Craig Treherne in relation to the bona fides of the withdrawal of Bar Banter from this race. Stewards noted the comments.
Good Manner was a late scratching at 14:15 by Order of Stewards after it was established that the incorrect greyhound had been presented. At a subsequent inquiry, Stewards issued a charge under GAR 86 to Mr. Neil Jones for failing to present the correct greyhound to the Stewards for this event. Mr Jones pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined $250. The 28 day stand down period imposed on Good Manner was revoked.
Late For Love and Pick A Posy were slow to begin.
