Steward's Report
Golden Spolly and Lindenow Patch were quick to begin. Granny Roses and Go Mummy's Boy were slow to begin.
Rare Tarra fell on the first turn, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left shoulder injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Simba's Queen visibly eased and turned its head to the outside approaching the home turn, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind toe. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Sean Lithgow regarding Simba's Queen’s racing manners approaching the home turn. Mr. Lithgow pled guilty to the charge, Simba's Queen was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
