Steward's Report
Dr. Austin and Misty Black were quick to begin.
Dr. Austin tired over the concluding stages, underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to kennel representative Ms Jennifer Gill in relation to the step up in distance of Dr. Austin in this event. Ms. Gill stated that Dr. Austin had previously run over a similar distance. Stewards noted Ms Gill's comments.
A post-race sample was taken from Smoldering Decay - the winner of the event.
There was no back straight head on vision available for this event.
In accordance with GAR 156(w) Mr Shane Drummond was issued with a warning regarding the non–compliance with the GRV Dress Code.
