Steward's Report
Harvard Scholar was quick to begin. Keswick Boy and Lolly Shop Girl were slow to begin. Running High was very slow to begin (5 lengths).
Running High, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Ms C. Jayakody regarding the overall performance of the greyhound. After hearing submissions from Ms Jayakody, viewing the available race footage, considering the injury and the greyhound's first start, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s performance. Ms Jayakody was advised that a repeat of this performance may result in the greyhound being placed on a trial.
