Ride Know More checked off Team Staffing at the 400m and fell, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Retro Rocket faltered at the 200m, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a sesamoid injury to the left hindleg. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Gavin Burke regarding the racing manners of Retro Rocket at the 200m. After hearing submissions from Mr. Burke, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
Many Ways underwent a post–race veterinary examination due to an incident in the catching pen and was found to have a laceration. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
