Steward's Report
Trainer Mr A. Farley failed to ensure Poppy To Burn was kennelled by the appointed kennelling time. A $100 was issued pursuant to LR 39.1
Infra Bang Bang and Sashay Away were quick to begin. Last Unicorn was slow to begin.
Idema Bale fell on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Tinker Dan lost ground in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 9. Tinker Dan was found to have abrasions and contusion. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Giddings regarding the racing manners of Tinker Dan in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Giddings, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.
