Steward's Report
Worker Bee was quick to begin. Spolly John and Spolly Rock were slow to begin.
Spolly Rock checked off Akina Aria on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Worker Bee Marred Feather Nest in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms. Bianca Clark regarding Worker Bee’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Worker Bee was charged with marring. Ms.Clark pled guilty to the charge, Worker Bee was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Tricky Kelvin shifted out approaching the winning post and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Ms. Jennifer Gieschen regarding the racing manners of Tricky Kelvin approaching the winning post. After hearing submissions from Ms. Gieschen, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.
