Steward's Report
Saint Bogan, Prince Dior and Zambora Colt were slow to begin.
Bebop Giblet - turned its head outwards and eased approaching the winning post, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. Mark Johnson regarding Bebop Giblet’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Bebop Giblet was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Johnson pled guilty to the charge, Bebop Giblet was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
