Steward's Report
Keira Spolly and Colossal Fire were slow to begin.
Aston Camille was checked approaching the winning post and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Tommy's No Angel turned it's head inwards approaching the winning post underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left deltoid injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Cameron Knott regarding Tommy's No Angel’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124 Tommy's No Angel was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Knott pled not guilty to the charge, Tommy's No Angel was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Tommy's No Angel - the winner of the event.
