Steward's Report
Dr. Matrix – Late scratching at 18:36 on the advice of the On– Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to a right quadriceps injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Panama Canal - New declared weight of 33.7kgs, last raced at 32.5kgs.
Alfie Solomon, Blazing Nenna and Rocky Horror were quick to begin. Sunny Bokai was slow to begin and raced wide throughout.
A post-race sample was taken from Panama Canal - winner of the event.
Panama Canal underwent a post-race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Ms. Jessica Hopkins regarding Panama Canal's action over the concluding stages of the event. In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested Ms. Hopkins to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Panama Canal in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
