Steward's Report
No Holds Barred – Late scratching at 10:18am due to weight variation (GAR 101). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. Michael Meyer was fined $100.00.
Rushworth and Rapidfire Serena were slow to begin. Crymelon Rover was very slow to begin (8L).
A post–race sample was taken from Rapidfire Serena – the winner of the event.
Stewards spoke to Mr. John Kruisselbrink, trainer of Crymelon Rover, regarding the greyhound's tardiness at box rise. Mr. Kruisselbrink advised Stewards that the greyhound has been similarly slow at its two previous starts and that he will continue to work on the greyhound's starting propensity. Stewards were satisifed with Mr. Kruisselbrink's comments today but did advise that should the greyhound fail to show any improvement in this area, Crymelon Rover may be ordered to complete a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 129, before any future nomination is accepted.
