Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Baffling.
Mepunga Bundy, Get Out and Manson were slow to begin.
Baffling faltered entering the back straight and tailed off, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left-hind back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Ronald Dunne, trainer of Baffling, who advised that the greyhound may now be retired.
Raving Icon fell in the catching pen, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
