Steward's Report
Hoppy Bob– New declared weight of 35.2 kg, last raced at 33.8 kg.
A pre–race sample was taken from Hoppy Bob.
Blackpool Dill was quick to begin. Superior Swanny, Legs Like Grundy and Dr. Dixie were slow to begin.
Classy Kayla was severely checked approaching the 250m mark and consequently contacted the running rail, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have multible superficial abrasions. No stand down period was imposed.
Legs Like Grundy faltered and lost ground approaching the 200m mark, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 4, no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr Glynn Wood regarding Legs Like Grundy after it faltered and lost ground. In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr Wood report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Legs Like Grundy in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
A post–race sample was taken from Blackpool Dill – the winner of the event.
Split time at the 250m mark is taken from ISOLINKS due to timing issue.
