Hold Fast Bella - New declared weight of 26.7 kg, last raced at 25.3 kg.
Pablo's Star was quick to begin. Bushman's Prayer was slow to begin.
It was noted that the muzzle of Big Bluey Rocks became dislodged during the running of the event.
Bissaka Spider (lost ground after first turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have swelling around the left hock area. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Snowy's Brother underwent a post-trial veterinary examination and was found to have suffered a seizure. A 3 month stand down period was imposed. Acting under the provisions of GAR 42, Snowy's Brother is prohibited from competing in an event until such time as both a veterinary clearance is provided to the satisfaction of Stewards and a satisfactory trial is completed, pursuant to GAR 132. Further, under the provisions of GAR 42 (3) Snowy's Brother is prohibited from competing in any event for 3 months.
