Steward's Report
A sample was taken from Rollin' Free, upon arrival at the course.
Rollin' Free was quick to begin. Sonic Trooper was slow to begin.
Breeze Breaker was severely checked entering the home straight, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hind sesamoid injury and abrasions to the hind toes. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Dennis Fraser regarding the racing manners of Breeze Breaker on the first turn and approaching the winning post. After hearing submissions from Mr. Fraser, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn/approaching the winning post.
