Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Fast Milkman
Hippogriff and Master The Art were slow to begin.
Orca (fell after the finish) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a slow recovery. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Sher Zany (failed to pursue approaching the winning post) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right pencil muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr B. Keel regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Sher Zany was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Keel pled guilty to the charge, Sher Zany must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
