Steward's Report
Osanna Bale was a late scratching at 2:55pm by order of Stewards after it was established that the incorrect greyhound had been presented. At an inquiry, the Stewards issued a charge under GAR 86 to Daniel Gibbons for failing to present the correct greyhound to the Stewards for this event. Mr Gibbons pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined $250. The 28-day stand–down on Osanna Bale was revoked.
Solar Something was examined by the Club's Veterinary Surgeon and passed suitable to race.
Bek's Classified and Little Zambora were quick to begin. Zargo Bale went up with the lids at box rise.
A pre–race sample was unable to be obtained from Solar Something , a post–race sample was subsequently taken.
