Steward's Report
Lala Ultra Fast and Jag Fernando were quick to begin. Lovely Romeo was very slow to begin (4 lengths).
A pre–race sample was unable to be obtained from Lala Ultra Fast, a post–race sample was subsequently taken.
Lala Ultra Fast was severely checked and stumbled in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising to the right hind medial and hock. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to kennel representative Mr. Suwit Bunchusri regarding Lala Ultra Fast’s performance and racing manners in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Bunchusri, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Lala Ultra Fast unsatisfactory. Lala Ultra Fast must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
