Steward's Report
In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 34.2 degrees and the kennel temperature were 16.4 degrees. The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy.
Selma Slick– Late scratching at 16:10 due to the greyhound being on season GAR 77. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Braxton Boy – New declared weight of 30.4kg, last raced at 29.2kg.
Slingshot Penny was quick to begin. Braxton Boy, Slingshot Roxy and Aston Sunline were slow to begin.
Braxton Boy shifted out on the first and checked off Slingshot Penny, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right deltoid injury and a right quadricep injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
