Steward's Report
Bonnie Too Good was quick to begin.
She's So Kind underwent a post–race veterinary examination due to its performance being below market expectations – no apparent injury was reported. When questioned regarding the greyhounds performance, kennel representative Mr. Keith Lloyd stated that the greyhound may be coming to the end of its racing career and had only previously won when jumping to the lead. He further added the greyhound was expected to be competitive but was not supportive of the short price offered ($1.60). In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr Lloyd to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected She's So Kind in the running of the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event. A post–race sample was taken.
