Steward's Report
Stewards wish to advise that the weight for Aston Velvet in this event was initially recorded incorrectly as 31.8kg. This error was brought to the attention of Stewards at the close of kenneling, at which time the greyhound was re-weighed and the weight corrected to 30.8kg. Whilst this error will be amended accordingly, the incorrect weight may appear in official publications until such time the error is formally rectified in the reporting system. For the avoidance of any doubt regarding Aston Velvet's eligibility in this event, Stewards note that Aston Velvet weighed 31.2kg at its most recent start on 23 September 2022.
A post-race sample was taken from Aston Jonas - the winner of the event.
