Steward's Report
Denis The Menace, Master Class, Magnis Bale and Elite Jet were quick to begin. Crackerjack Lach was slow to begin.
Denis The Menace visibly eased on the first turn, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle and right sartorius injuries. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Darren Petersen regarding the racing manners of Denis The Menace on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Denis The Menace was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).Mr.Petersen pled guilty to the charge, Denis The Menace was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
