Steward's Report
Unacceptable Les was quick to begin. Aston Yuki and Cow Corner were slow to begin.
Cow Corner underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right groin injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Rhys Fry regarding Cow Corner’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Cow Corner was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Fry pled guilty to the charge, Cow Corner was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Dallas Jane underwent a post–race veterinary examination, at the Trainer's request, and was found to have a left dew claw injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
