Steward's Report
An out of competition sample was taken from Rohan Bale on 2/8/22 pursuant to GAR 139.
Galloping Speed was slow to begin.
Rohan Bale turned its head inwards and made muzzle contact with Stout Monelli when rounding the home turn and subsequently underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to kennel representative Mrs Rebecca Gibbons regarding Rohan Bale's racing manners when rounding the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Rohan Bale was charged with marring. Mrs Gibbons pled not guilty to the charge, however Rohan Bale was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown Park and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
