Steward's Report
The Kennel Supervisor reported to Stewards during kennelling that a greyhound had been incorrectly placed in the wrong kennel. Stewards identified the greyhound as Katie Cortis, which was placed in Kennel 42, but should have been placed in Kennel 41. The greyhound Minnie The Minx, which was assigned Kennel 42, was subsequently placed in Kennel 41. Stewards noted this error and change on relevant paperwork and kennel tickets. Stewards referred the matter to the club manager.
A pre–race sample was taken from Joyous Legacy.
Charizard and Pretty Mouse were slow to begin.
