Steward's Report
Due to a technical malfunction this event was hand started.
Hill Side Brae and Kasumi Berry were quick to begin. Posh Yung was slow to begin.
Pablos Elite lost ground over the concluding stages, underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Jye Formosa regarding the racing manners of Pablos Elite entering the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Formosa, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight.
Hill Side Brae raced ungenerously over the concluding stages, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Noel Walsh regarding the racing manners of Hill Side Brae approaching the winning post. After hearing submissions from Mr. Walsh, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
