Steward's Report
A pre–race sample was taken from Tinker Yvonne.
Rev Up Freddy was quick to begin.
Dookie Devil underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left bicep injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr G.Dainton regarding Dookie Devil’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Dookie Devil was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Dainton pled guilty to the charge, Dookie Devil was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post–race sample was taken from Quinlan Bale – the winner of the event.
