Steward's Report
Pechey's Girl was quick to begin.
Cleo's Neo faltered on the second turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have thumps and a groin injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Matthew Clark regarding the racing manners of Cleo's Neo on the second turn. After hearing evidence from Mr Clark, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.
A post-race sample was taken from Taste The Gold - the winner of the event.
