Steward's Report
Lamonica was quick to begin. Myola Frank was slow to begin.
Coconut Felipe was vetted following the event - no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to Trainer - P Gabriel, regarding the racing manners of Coconut Felipe approaching the home turn. After viewing all available video footage and taking into consideration the evidence from Mr. Gabriel, Stewards took no action in the matter.
Galaxy Oasis was vetted following the event, no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr G Berry, regarding the racing manners of Galaxy Oasis approaching the finishing line. After hearing submissions from Mr. Berry, viewing the available race footage, and in particular the head-on vision, and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.
A post race sample was taken from Lamonica, the winner of the event.
