Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Giddey Keats.
Aston Siren and Insane Brockie were slow to begin.
Stewards opened and adjourned an inquiry with Mr Terry Meyer into the bona fides of Diversify in the running of this event.
Supplementary Report 31 July 2022 -
Stewards resumed an inquiry with Mr Terry Meyer regarding his role as kennel representative for Mr John Mangion at Healesville on Friday 22 July 2022. Mr Meyer failed to present the greyhound Diversify with the correct racing gear when engaged in Race 4. Acting under GAR 156 (f), Stewards issued a charge to Mr Meyer for omitting to ensure that Diversify was wearing the approved required race gear, which in the opinion of the Stewards was negligent. Mr Meyer pleaded guilty to the charge. After hearing submissions on penalty, a fine of $250 was imposed.
