Steward's Report
Clemons– Late scratching at 7.52am when trainer Mr. Jason Stemmer reported the greyhound to have Diarrhoea (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
Inter Spice was quick to begin. Arcus was slow to begin.
Soda Jazzy underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Dennis Langley regarding the racing manners of Soda Jazzy approaching the 150m mark. After hearing submissions from Mr Langley, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the 150m mark.
