Steward's Report
A sample was taken from In Lights upon arrival at the course.
He's For Us - Representative Mr Craig Solkhon was questioned regarding the training and kennelling arrangement of the greyhound. Mr Solkhon advised that the greyhound’s registered Trainer, Mrs Heather Baxter, He's For Us and Sweet Emily (scratched from race 11) are located at the kennel and residential address of Trainers Mr Jeff Britton and Ms Angela Langton for a short period of time. Mr. Solkhon added that Mrs Baxter is responsible for the feeding, training and preparation of the two greyhounds. Mr Solkhon's comments were noted. Trainer Mrs Heather Baxter arrived on course prior to the event. Mrs Baxter confirmed Mr Solkhon's comments. After considering the matter Mrs Baxter was reminded of her obligations to notify GRV of the whereabouts of her greyhounds pursuant to GAR 34.
A pre–race sample was taken from Konta.
The start of this event was delayed approximately 3 minutes due to the incident in the previous race
She Can Excite and Weblec Hawk were slow to begin.
