Cool Stone underwent a post-race veterinary examination after Stewards had concerns with the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Kennel Representative Ms Loren Dalziel regarding the racing manners of Cool Stone on the home turn. After hearing evidence from Ms Dalziel, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.
A post-race sample was taken from Mt. View Buck – winner of the event.
