Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 75 (6) Kennel Attendant, Mr Aaron Blake did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
Hijack Heist fell on the first turn and underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right hamstring. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Blazing Beth was severely checked on the first turn and underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Exit Speed was severely checked on the first turn and underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Memphis Rose visibly eased and turned it's head outwards approaching the home turn and underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right triangle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mrs Julie Chilcott regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Memphis Rose was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mrs Chilcott pleaded guilty to the charge, Memphis Rose was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125 and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
