Steward's Report
Butterworth Bale was slow to begin. Bookkeeper and Yoda Bale collided soon after the start. Miss Jamaica crossed to the rail approaching the first turn. Mister Scull and Yoda Bale collided approaching the first turn. Bookkeeper, Yoda Bale, Mister Scull and Butterworth Bale collided on the first turn checking Bookkeeper. Dede Bale checked off Dungey Bale on the first turn. Yoda Bale and Mister Scull collided approaching the second turn. Butterworth Bale and Dede Bale collided entering the back straight checking Dede Bale. Mister Scull and Dede Bale collided on the third turn.
Bookkeeper was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 3, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's left pencil muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Samples were taken from the first three placegetters in the event - Dungey Bale (1st), Miss Jamaica (2nd) and Butterworth Bale (3rd).
