King Of Spin was quick to begin. King of Spin crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Kate Wonder. Tax Write Off and Sheeza Smarty collided soon after the start. Frame raced wide approaching the first turn . Albo Gold and Tax Write Off collided on the first turn checking Tax Write Off. Sheeza Smarty and Frame collided on the first turn checking Frame. Kate Wonder checked off Gino Keeping on the first turn checking Earl The Goat, Kate Wonder and Earl The Goat raced wide as a result. Sheeza Smarty checked off Tax Write Off in the back straight. Sheeza Smarty and Frame collided approaching the home turn checking Frame and Gino Keeping on the home turn. Sheeza Smarty checked off Tax Write Off entering the home straight. Kate Wonder veered out and collided with Sheeza Smarty in the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Stewards deemed the performance of Kate Wonder unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Kate Wonder must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
