Steward's Report

Due to a malfunction with the boxes this race was hand started.

Slippery Swan, Slingshot Bruno and Pandorica collided approaching the first turn, checking Slingshot Bruno and Pandorica. Mcivor Stretch and Basmati collided on the first turn, checking Basmati. Basmati, Annie My Mate, Pandorica and Mcivor Jack collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Basmati which fell as a result. Pandorica galloped on the heels of Mcivor Jack approaching the home turn. Mcivor Stretch raced wide in the home straight.

Basmati underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have shine soreness. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
