All persons attending today wore facemasks when required, checked in, observed social distance requirements, and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

Seabrook Dow was quick to begin. Exit Sign, Atomic Flea and Twelve Carat were slow to begin.

Exit Sign and Twelve Carat collided soon after the start checking Exit Sign.  Atomic Flea and Lily The Thief collided soon after the start.  Arcus and Atomic Flea collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Arcus checked off Lily The Thief on the first turn.  Exit Sign checked off Lily The Thief approaching the home turn.  Arcus and Twelve Carat raced wide entering the home straight.  Exit Sign and Arcus raced wide in the home straight.

Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Track Curator, Mr Shaun Boag did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.

A pre-race sample was taken from Consumption.

Faint Perfume was quick to begin.  Water Dragon, Consumption and Unique Roman were slow to begin.

Miss Molly May went up with the lids and was slow to begin.  Faint Perfume and Sweet Moments collided on the first turn.  Unique Roman galloped on Sweet Moments on the first turn severely checking Sweet Moments and causing Unique Roman to fall.

Unique Roman underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left deltoid injury.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Laid Back Larry.

Miss Manager was quick to begin.  Zipping Dudley was slow to begin.

Laid Back Larry and Belle Yaraki collided soon after the start.  Belle Yaraki and Maxi Mal collided approaching the first turn.  Laid Back Larry and Maxi Mal collided on the first turn checking Maxi Mal.  Belle Yaraki and Maxi Mal collided entering the home straight checking Belle Yaraki.  Reiko Shock raced wide entering the home straight.  Zipping Dudley checked off Belle Yaraki approaching the winning post.

Hailey Lainey was quick to begin.

Veracruz Bale checked off Rock Me Mama approaching the first turn.  Rock Me Mama brushed the running rail approaching the first turn. 

Ranger Mick underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mrs Maureen Turner regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mrs. Turner, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.

Arch See All and Jessie's Brew were quick to begin.

Orejitas crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Cambria Bale.  Whiz Out checked off Story Unfolds on the first turn checking Whiz Out and Mega Heist.  Jessie's Brew clipped the heels of Replicant on the first turn checking Jessie's Brew and causing Replicant to fall.  Whiz Out faltered in the home straight.  Jessie's Brew and Whiz Out raced wide in the home straight. Jessie's Brew turned its head outwards in the home straight

Replicant underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle and left groin muscle injuries.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.  

Jessie's Brew underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left deltoid injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Raymond Brewer regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Jessie's Brew was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Brewer pleaded guilty to the charge, Jessie's Brew must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Whiz Out underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Low Planes.

Belena Blaze and Rocky Strike were quick to begin.

Saint Jett and Joffa's Monaro collided soon after the start checking Saint Jett.  Master Class checked off Big Brew on the first turn.  Belena Blaze, Basmati and Rocky Strike raced wide in the home straight.  

A pre-race sample was taken from Finch.

Frothy's Friday and Kandinsky collided in the back straight checking Kandinsky.  Pandora's Hope, Frothy's Friday and Roxy Rum Pumper collided approaching the first turn checking Pandora's Hope, Frothy's Friday, Kandinsky and Roxy Rum pumper.  Little Yaala and Finch collided approaching the winning post.

Reiko Oreo was slow to begin.

Crumb Snags crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Spencer Giblet.  Crumb Snags checked off Crystal Opal entering the back straight.  Crystal Opal and Our Girl Bailee collided on the second turn severely checking Crystal Opal.  Spencer Giblet, Crumb Snags, Brindle Fire and Reiko Oreo raced wide in the home straight.  Aerolithology and Brindle Fire collided approaching the winning post.  

A pre-race sample was taken from Trending Power. 

Just Gab was quick to begin.

Aston Dynasty, Just Gab, Rock Opera and Trending Power collided on the first turn checking Rock Opera and severely checking Aston Dynasty.  Night Jar and Kazoo Giblet collided on the first turn. Just Gab visibly eased approaching the home turn. 

Just Gab underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury.  Trainer Mr Raymond Gatt declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted. Stewards spoke to Mr. Gatt regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Just Gab was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Gatt pleaded not guilty to the charge, Just Gab was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat only and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69A(2) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Seabrook Stack checked off Bugs on the first turn.  Ultimate Mayhem raced wide on the home turn.  Seabrook Stack checked off Ultimate Mayhem in the home straight. 

Your Embrace - Acting on a confirmed telephone call with Trainer Mr K. Howat, who advised he was significantly delayed on-route, the greyhound was declared a late scratching at 11.24am. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Slap Fizz.

Slap Fizz was quick to begin.

Lektra Loopy and Urunga Bale collided soon after the start.  Lektra Loopy, Urunga Bale, Reiko Cleo, Jimmy Cheesecake, Kanji Length and Slap Fizz collided soon after the start checking Lektra Loopy, Urunga Bale, Jimmy Cheesecake and Kanji Length.  Urunga Bale checked off Lektra Loopy on the first turn.  

Pre-race samples were taken from Gold Luminesce and Darley Dynamo.

Pyrenees Alpha crossed in approaching the first turn checking Chanko Girl, Gold Luminesce, King Brown and severely checking Pyrenees Spirit.  Chanko Girl and Pyrenees Alpha collided in the home straight.
