Galloping Rocky was quick to begin. Zipping Maggie and Shall She Rock collided on the first turn. Shall She Rock and Unix Bale collided several times approaching the second turn. Newfire Riley checked off Shall She Rock approaching the fourth turn. Unix Bale and Darbain Dasher collided approaching the home turn. Galloping Rocky and Banjo Blitz collided on the home turn.
Unix Bale was vetted following the event and was revetted following Race 8. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right hamstring, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
