Steward's Report
Zander's Express was a late scratching at 11:32a.m. due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer J. Britton was fined the sum of $100.
Dirty Angel was slow to begin.
Little Zippity and Witch Bale collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Witch Bale. Dirty Angel and Witch Bale collided on the first turn. Tweetman, Mighty Mullet and Royal Colour collided on the first turn, Royal Colour fell as a result. Little Zippity raced wide in the home straight.
Royal Colour was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
