I'm So Dizzy and Slipaway Frank were slow to begin.
Deadly Viking and Claretown Bert collided soon after the start checking Deadly Viking. Allprofit crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Deadly Viking, Demolition Guy, Ready Jet Go and Claretown Bert and severely checking Slipaway Frank and I'm So Dizzy. Ready Jet Go and Riverdale Hayley collided approaching the first turn checking Riverdale Hayley. Deadly Viking, Riverdale Hayley and Allprofit raced wide in the home straight.
Slipaway Frank was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left wrist. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
I'm So Dizzy was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
