Puzzle Gold was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left front toe, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Allen Kong and Yeh Right were slow to begin.  Omega Clover and Ellava Flyer collided approaching the first turn checking Ellava Flyer.  Allen Kong, Greek Style and Yeh Right collided on the first turn checking Allen Kong.  Yeh Right galloped on Ellava Flyer approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Greek Style and Yeh Right collided entering the home straight.  Allen Kong and Ellava Flyer collided approaching the winning post.

Special Max was slow to begin.  Galloping Gem and Tinder King were very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Canino, Deadman Junction and Special Max collided soon after the start checking Deadman Junction and Special Max.  Bernmar Pauline and Canino collided on the first turn checking Bernmar Pauline.  Deadman Junction checked off Bernmar Pauline on the first turn.

Small One was slow to begin.  Small One, Arisia Bale and Madame Black collided soon after the start severely checking Small One.  Somebody's Image and Arisia Bale collided soon after the start.  Arisia Bale checked off Cee Cee's Legacy approaching the first turn.  Arisia Bale and Bugg Hugg collided on the first turn checking Arisia Bale and Madame Balck causing Madame Black to race wide as a result.  Somebody's Image and Time Dimension collided approaching the second turn checking Somebody's Image.  Small One and Madame Black collided in the back straight.  Bugg Hugg checked off Small One on the third turn.  Time Dimension raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.  Somebody's Image and Bugg Hugg tired over the concluding stages and tailed off as a result.

Somebody's Image was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound was found to have soreness in both monkey muscles and both back muscles, a 10 day stand down  period was imposed.

Bugg Hugg was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left calf muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Dewana Babe and Vapourette were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Norrie's Antics and Sammy Jade collided approaching the first turn checking Norrie's Antics.  Spirit Of Caity, Dewana Babe and Salegrey's Late collided approaching the second turn checking Salegrey's Late.  Sammy Jade and Vapourette collided on the second turn checking Sammy Jade.

Lethal Blue was a late scratching at 16:09 due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer Mr. D. Brown was fined the sum of $100

Due to a technical difficulty with the judging equipment, no first split or photo finish was captured for this event.  Judges using their own observations with the assistance of back up vision were able to determine and confirm placings before all clear was given.
