Steward's Report
Mr. G Watts, trainer of Coulta Betsy redeclared a new weight of 28.1kg's for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Coulta Betsy last raced at 29.7kg's.
Dyna Fancy was quick to begin. One Dee, Limburg Lane, Smoking Rosie, Aeroplane Cindy and Miss Kia Ora collided soon after the start checking One Dee, Smoking Rosie and LImburg Layne. MIss Kia Ora and Amaroo My Girl collided on the first turn. One Dee and Coulta Betsy collided on the first turn checking Coulta Betsy and Smoking Rosie. Aeroplane Cindy and Miss Kia Ora collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn checking One Dee, Coulta Betsy and Smoking Rosie and severely checking Miss Kia Ora which pulled up as a result.
Miss Kia Ora was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to it's right monkey muscle and right hock. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
