A pre-race sample was taken from Manbo Man.
Manbo Man, Wot Price Laurie and Cool Mikado were slow to begin. Fuzzy Buzzy, Sarsha, Rinash and Tulare Dust collided soon after the start checking Rinash and Cool Mikado. Tulare Dust checked off Volksjager Blue on the first turn. Coll Mikado galloped on the heels of Tulare Dust entering the front straight checking both greyhounds. Wot Price Laurie, Sarsha and Volksjager Blue collided approaching the second turn checking Wot Price Laurie, Sarsha, Rinash and Volksjager Blue. Wot Price Laurie checked off Sarsha on the third turn. Manbo Man and Rinash collided on the fourth turn. Wot Price Laurie and Cool MIkado collided on the fourth turn.
Wot Price Laurie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's left tricep. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
