Steward's Report
Elly's Dream was quick to begin. Elite Circle was slow to begin. Team Player, Elite Circle and Lektra Blanket collided soon after the start checking Elite Circle. Ace Hendrix and Team Player collided approaching the first turn. Weekend Gangster, Molly's Silver, Lektra Blanket and Slipper's Will collided on the first turn checking Molly's Silver, Lektra Blanket and Slipper's Will, Slippper's Will collided with Team Player as a result, causing Slipper's Will to be severely checked. Lektra Blanket, Molly's Silver and Elite Circle collided approaching the home turn checking Elite Circle and Molly's Silver. Weekend Gangster raced wide in the early part of the home straight. Ace Hendrix raced wide in the home straight.
Slipper's Will was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
