Jason Sharp, trainer of Lektra Georgie redeclared a new weight of 29.4 kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Lektra Georgie last raced at 28.8 kg.

Pyschotic Bob and Lektra Georgie were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Red Bomber crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Lavie Belle and severely checking Sootette. Lavie Belle checked off Red Bomber on the first turn. Lektra Georgie and Euphoric collided approaching the home turn checking Euphoric. Psychotic Bob and Lovely Lizzie collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight checking Lovely Lizzie which raced wide as a result.

Yo Yoshi and Mighty Mullet were slow to begin. 

Jonny La Monte and Lektra Rose collided several times soon after the start. Ten To Midnight, Yo Yoshi, Jonny La Monte and Lektra Rose collided approaching the first turn checking Yo Yoshi and Lektra Rose. Jonny La Monte crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Lektra Rose and Ten To Midnight. Ten To Midnight and Lektra Rose collided several times on the first turn. Mighty Mullet and Jonny La Monte collided approaching the home turn. Yo Yoshi and Lektra Rose collided several times on the home turn.  

Dynamo's Lady was slow to begin. 

Bills Back crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Usain Buzza and Coconut Grove. Moonshine Crash checked off Bills Back on the first turn and again entering the home straight. 

Wise Peejay was slow to begin.

Altolite, Some Nights and Dyna Suzie collided on the first turn. Wise Peejay checked off Dyna Suzie on the first turn. Dyna Suzie and Some Nights collided in the home straight. 

Dodgy Dealer, Aerial Blitz and Hades Meteor collided soon after the start checking Aerial Blitz and Hades Meteor. Dyna Olsen and Fourth Choice collided soon after the start checking Fourth Choice. Aerial Blitz, Horsham Myth and Fourth Choice collided approaching the first turn checking Aerial Blitz and Horsham Myth. Dodgy Dealer and King Surfa collided on the first turn. Dodgy Dealer checked off King Surfa approaching the home turn. Going Cosmic checked off Dodgy Dealer on the home turn. 

Pyrenees Grand was slow to begin.

Know Class, Run On Rosey and Hornsey's Mate collided soon after the start checking Run On Rosey and Know Class. Molly Michelle checked off Claretown Bart on the first turn. Pyrenees Grand and Run On Rosey collided approaching the home turn. Run On Rosey raced wide in the home straight. Hornsey's Mate raced wide in the home straight. 

Know Class was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right pencil muscle and the right thigh. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Jaunty Bale, Little Zippity and Flippin' Good collided soon after the start. Little Zippity and Flippin' Good collided approaching the first turn. Little Zippity raced wide in the home straight. 

Lady Toy and Delta Bolt were slow to begin.

Erza Allen crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Run Right Back, Mepunga Mission, Vera Allen, Blinker's On and Delta Bolt. Lady Toy, Run Right Back, Vera Allen, Blinker's On and Delta Bolt collided entering the back straight checking Run Right Back, Vera Allen and Blinker's On. Vera Allen and Blinker's On collided in the back straight checking both greyhounds. Blinker's On and He's No Jet collided in the home straight checking both greyhounds. 

Run Right Back was vetted following the event.It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left thigh. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Erza Allen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Renstar was a late scratching at 5.59 p.m due to weight variation. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer P. Anderton was fined the sum of $100.

Major Threat was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Baumgartner and Namron Star collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn. Namron Star and Balyang Grinder raced wide in the home straight.  

Hit Pay Dirt was slow to begin.

Solar Storm and Micky Mambo collided soon after the start checking Solar Storm. Solar Storm and Tiger Toy collided approaching the first turn checking Solar Storm. Spring Spaniard and Dyna Chaser collided approaching the first turn checking Dyna Chaser. Hot Thomeli checked off Micky Mambo approaching the first turn. Hit Pay Dirt, Solar Storm and Dyna Chaser collided on the first turn checking Solar Storm and Dyna Chaser. Tiger Toy checked off Spring Spaniard on the home turn. Spring Spaniard checked off Hot Thomeli in the home straight. Micky Mambo and Swagzilla collided approaching the winning post checking Swagzilla. 

Jetgun was a late scratching at 9.06 a.m. due to illness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre race sample was taken from Magic Mantra. 

Magic Mantra and Sleeve's Revenge were slow to begin.

Planetman, Willy Bale and Magic Mantra collided on the first turn checking Magic Mantra and Sleeve's Revenge. Planetman checked off Willy Bale on the first turn. Sleeve's Revenge checked off Magic Mantra approaching the home turn. Cosmic Station and Mr. Snackman collided approaching the home turn. Planetman and Magic Mantra collided approaching the home turn. 

Southwood Denis and Fang Larky collided soon after the start checking Southwood Denis. Bejay The Dejay checked off Belena Rose approaching the first turn. Notso Funny, Water Bag and Elite Watch collided on the first turn checking Notso Funny, Elite Watch, Southwood Denis, Disruptive Spin and Fang Larky. Water Bag galloped on the heels of Belena Rose checking Water Bag, Elite Watch, Southwood Denis, Fang Larky and Disruptive Spin and severely checking Belena Rose which fell. Fang Larky raced wide on the home turn. 

Belena Rose was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spinal injury. A 30 day stand down period was imposed. 

Satisfactory Trial Results

Elite Stress trialled over the 390m from box 8, weight 32.1kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.69, the greyhound won by a margin of 4 lengths. Elite Stress was Cleared.
