Bablitz, Tiny Oasis and Tronathon were slow to begin. Miss Ferocious, All Inn Line and Storm Dee collided soon after the start. Bablitz and Tiny Oasis collided soon after the start and approaching the first turn. Miss Ferocious and All Inn Line collided approaching the first turn. Tronathon and La Trobe Lass collided approaching the first turn checking La Trobe Lass. Miss Ferocious raced wide in the home straight. All Terrific and Storm Dee collided in the home straight.
La Trobe Lass was vetted and re-vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.
Miss Ferocious was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained multiple superficial abrasions to the right foreleg, no stand down period was imposed.
