Tronathon and La Trobe Lass collided approaching the first turn checking La Trobe Lass. Miss Ferocious raced wide in the home straight. All Terrific and Storm Dee collided in the home straight.

La Trobe Lass was vetted and re-vetted  following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.

Miss Ferocious was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained multiple superficial abrasions to the right foreleg, no stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr H Wetzels, the trainer of Miss Ferocious regarding the greyhound’s poor performance in this event.

Midnight Flynn was a late scratching at 8.57am due to illness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

College Queen was quick to begin. Astana Spur and Next Grange were slow to begin. Raptis and Kraken Shines collided soon after the start. Kraken Shines and Alvie Flyer collided soon after the start. Astana Spur checked off Next Grange approaching the first turn. Kraken Shines checked off Raptis on the first turn checking Astana Spur. Raptis and Next Grange collided approaching the home turn checking Next Grange. Kraken Shines checked off Next Grange approaching the home turn. Astana Spur raced wide in the home straight.

Big Ticket was slow to begin. Shameless Bandit and Ballerino collided soon after the start. All Inn Murch, Balck Poni and Komondo collided approaching the first turn checking Black Poni and Komondo, Black Poni contacted the running rail as a result.

Black Poni was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a painful right thigh and multiple abrasions to the right hind leg , a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Soaring Angel and Danny Brook collided soon after the start. Hol, Duck Hole Flyer and Soaring Angel collided soon after the start checking Duck Hole Flyer. Soaring Angel checked off Trip To Cairns on the home turn.

Kraken Mandy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained minor abrasions, no stand down period was imposed.

Premier Wimpy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr K Eyles, the trainer of Kraken Mandy regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.

Speed Series was quick to begin. Creative Chant checked off Cee Ronaldo approaching the first turn. Speed Series and Lukey Deez collided in the home straight. Speed Series, Lukey Deez and Creative Chant collided approaching the winning post.

Minority and Jindara collided soon after the start. Smokin'and Minority collided soon after the start. Santa Storm checked off Smokin' approaching the first turn checking Smokin'. Smokin' crossed to the outside on the first turn checking Santa Storm and Gift Of Time. Jindara checked off Minority approaching the home turn.

Smokin' was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained minor abrasions to the left stifle, no stand down period was imposed.

Santa  Storm was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.

Stewards spoke to Mr K Lloyd, the trainer of the greyhound Santa  Storm.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Santa Storm with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 28 days Shepparton and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Savage Storm was slow to begin. Wild Douglas crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Classy Flyer and Alarming and severely checking Chevy Spark and Dyna Ping.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr Mark Attard the handler of the greyhound Savage Storm regarding him kicking the outside fence prior to the start being effected. Stewards advised Mr Attard that if there is a repitition of this behaviour In future stronger action will be taken.  

Mr R Gray, trainer of Athos  redeclared a new weight of 35.8kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Athos last raced at 34.5kg.

Sage Bale was slow to begin. Tiggerlong Rum, Leah Entity and Santa's Special collided on the first turn checking Santa's Special.

Angel's Chief was slow to begin. Mo Town San and Platinum Express collided approaching the first turn. Dee Lightning galloped on the heels of Proven Scary on the first turn checking Proven Scary. Mo Town San and Platinum Express collided on the first turn. Mo Town San and Fezwah collided on the home turn. Platinum Express checked off Fezwah in the home straight. Fezwah eased in the home straight.

Fezwah was vetted and re-vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.

Tiggerlong Gunna, Mohinga Max, Sabah Magic, Madam Truffle and Midnight Swirl collided on the first turn checking Tiggerlong Gunna, Mohinga Max, Kraken Concord, Sabah Magic and Madam Truffle. Kraken Concord and Sabah Magic collided in the home straight. Tiggelong Gunna and Madam Truffle collided in the home straight.

Senorita Abbi went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Stylish Fantasy was slow to begin. Charlie's Pledge checked off Pagani Bridie on the first turn checking Stylish Fantasy and Mighty Hulk. Senorita Abbi was held up for a clear run for some distance approaching the home turn. Pagani Bridie checked off Charlie's Pledge entering the home straight severely checking Stylish Fantasy which stumbled as a result.
